Stumbling

Sauntering steps
dragging my mind
through endless torment

Staggering smiles
suffocating lies
Moronic thoughts

Stiffeling words
grasping air
repeatedly dormant

Stung by the widow
loving the descent
into the darkened pool.

Stumbling for life
deeply embroiled
in the turmoil of lust.

Seems the turmoil is always with us. Like a sharp stick pressing us forward, sideways, backwards in directions we sometimes do and sometimes don't intend to go.
