I believe most of us have been there, when our ego is so full of resentment over a loss or injustice. It's best to move on away from it all. Living in love is the best way to get over such pain.

I always like to say: my mind is a weapon of mass destruction primarily employed in defeating itself. Why are we so flawed? I completely connect into this. There has always been a dark power in my life which takes out little pieces of flesh just when I least expect it. Hard to stay on course. But the lesson I learned is that everything has a beginning, a middle and an end. Sometimes, I have to just sit with things and let the feelings pass, like a storm. Good poetry.

What you are writing about is depression. It brings any ones demons out there. I have an answer for you, PRAY. This piece of writing was well crafted and heartfelt.

Oh boy, Ragno, do I ever relate to this hard-hitting poem. The target verse as far as I am concerned is "causing that hunter in you, / to search and destroy / your most hated enemy. Only to find it is you that you hate." Yes. I fought that fight and only recently, last October, became aware of that completely and, although they are not gone, like you said, my demons have quieted down to only a half-hearted roar from time to time. Good introspective writing.
