Time Sadly Wasted


Intense reflecting rays of the morning sun,
glimmery glowed upon the crystal clear lake,
while above flew a pair of snow white doves,
and on the shore a wet bear began to shake.

The snow cap peaks created a pristine setting,
with an angelic backdrop of tall evergreens,
on the edge of the forest two fawns bedding,
tall grass lightly swaying, essences so serene.

Peace and tranquility set in timeless motion,
experiencing the wonder of nature’s rapture,
land of enchantment without all the commotion,
spirits set free from big cities haunting capture.

Lives engulfed in greed, never find the way,
lost in self pity, clouded by meaningless fears,
never envisioning nature gift, given each day,
time sadly wasted, casting shadows and tears.

Reflect upon the hallows of nature’s land,
to find the inter peace, one longs to hold,
life’s busy pace is like a pit of quick sand,
pulling one down with a force ever so bold.
