Passionate Pleads


Deep within the corridors of your mind,
experiences of life, both good and bad,
memories of past years shared in time,
warm happy thoughts and feelings so sad.

Our brain is a gift from the heavens above,
detailed complexity, beyond human belief,
storing memories yet unable to grasp love,
handling stress and emotions without relief.

Captivating moments, memories to share,
accessed faster than even the speed of light,
a simple, data base marvel, beyond compare,
fed information through touch and sight.

The mind is such a unique, glorious creation,
allowing us to feel the joys, sorrows, and fears,
through it’s process we find our own salvation,
giving us the quality to shed forgotten tears.

Right from wrong, instill within our brain,
as we struggle to survive society’s greed,
faced with the choice, to kill or to be slain,
logic often overrides the passionate pleads.
