Hidden In Plan Sight

Upon the misty morning’s light,
a wet dew covers the entire ground,
as rays of sunshine glitter so bright,
the magic of nature is so profound.

Deep in the forest, beneath the trees,
upon the winding path of long ago,
a stillness brings you to your knees,
as a cold gentle wind begins to blow.

Majestic setting holds such mystery,
where creatures hide in plan sight,
man wandering throughout history,
lost in wonder, never seeing the light.

Looking for answers we’ll never find,
a placid existence is beyond our reach,
lost in the mental anguish of our mind,
a mystical essence, you can not teach.

If we could grasp the meaning of living,
we might discover it’s magnificent wonder,
and find delight in nature’s daily giving,
safeguarding our spirit from human blunder.

These Black and Blue Red Zone Days by Aberjhani

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.

Extraterrorestrial Beings v4 by RickthePoetWarrior

Our heroes are revealed for all they are, the final flash of a dying star, for with this pen I do they mar, with hopes I leave ‘em all a scar.
