Mystical Amber Glow
The morning glow of amber light,
shined upon the old feather bed,
where laid a peaceful resting sight,
an old man nestled, still, and dead.
The time had come for him to pass,
it was not personal or anything bad,
nothing of this world is made to last,
his life was full, so it should not be sad.
He wandered the earth, like you and I,
searching for something, he did roam,
knowing someday, he too, would die,
discovering a place, he could call home.
We all seem to search, both far and near,
for answers, our quest, through the ages,
as uncertainty, is, our one greatest fear,
it follows each of us, through life’s pages.
Discovered when a heart is filled with love,
the pure beauty, helps us understand why,
finding placidity from the heavens above,
bringing an inner fulfillment before we die.
