Eternal Question


Residing in the make believe,
perception controls the mind,
emotions, illusions conceive,
clouded by the passing of time.

Compassion, a constant plead,
lost in the evil’s darken shade,
lack of confidence, afraid to lead,
wandering all alone in the maze.

Memories dying in a dry field,
desperation consumes the night,
nothing gained, nothing to yield,
blinded, unable to see the light.

Forward, we can never go back,
to be cherished, a constant need,
in fearful tears, courage we lack,
in the end, we suffer and bleed.

Thrashing forever in a river,
but time is gone in a flash,
your soul you must deliver,
in heaven or hell, will it clash?
