Plead of Greed


No one knows the answer,
only the questions why,
society’s deadly cancer,
it’s how we live and die.

Lost in search of treasure,
traveling down life’s path,
happiness isn’t measured,
facing constant daily wrath.

False gods made of gold,
can’t fill a heart with love,
the story is forever told,
blind of peace from above.

A mere vision of the mind,
power and endless might,
it’s never is yours or mine,
always fearfully in fright.

Days turns into tomorrow,
you can not escape or run,
for it’s all only borrowed,
before you learn it’s done.
