Little Things


Life should be a fun filled dance,
consumed in laughter and in joy,
your head held high, you prance,
child like spirit with lots of toys.

The whole wide world is a stage,
we’re all unique in our own right,
passage of time, turning the page,
finding peace within the dim light.

Precious moments all but captured,
we wander about on our daily way,
some lost, others enjoy the rapture,
making the most out of every day.

Peace and contentment of the heart,
found beneath the warmth of the sky,
with love ones together and not apart,
cherished moments you can not buy.

Thank the Lord in the heavens above,
for the serenity nature brings each day,
peace of mind and someone to love,
pleasures of life, found in little things.
