Enchanted Dreams


A land of enchanted dreams,
created by our own illusions,
are just self-serving schemes,
where we’re lost in confusion.

Things are what they are not,
traveling down a lonely path,
we never seem to learn a lot,
fearing our own inner wrath.

It’s so simple to say the least,
we struggle within each day,
searching for an eternal peace,
lost never knowing the way.

We don’t know how to live,
wandering in the dark of night,
not realizing how we must give,
as each day fades from sight.

There is so much misery and pain,
created by our own selfish deeds,
never grasping how much to gain,
so much more than our own needs.
