Night Chatters Restless night without sleep, tossing, turning in the dark, many thoughts you can’t keep, random images leaving a mark. Night chatters are in the mind, thoughts racing of this and that, slowly passing the realm of time, never knowing just where your at. Images dance without making sense, word expressions you do not know, lying awake, heart racing so intense, yet asleep not hearing the wind blow. Prisoner of one’s thoughts and desires, our subconscious brings such illusions, one’s soul captivated in the burning fire, wide awake, alone in a state of confusion. The night chatters come without warning, following a busy day of unresolved issues, leaving one deprived of sleep in the morning, you stretch, sneeze, and reach for a soft tissue. Samuel E. Sam, I've been through many nights like this...sometimes it's hard to hold onto the thought before another comes in to snatch the thought you so wanted to hold onto...it's strange how our minds play games especially at night. There's so much truth in this that I think most readers will appreciate. Thanks for sharing!
