Enjoy


Each day of life is a day for truly living,
to be spent enjoying each second of time,
joys and sorrows, love constantly giving,
happiness is no more than a state of mind.

Stones skipping across the waters of a lake,
cause ripples to reach the far distant shore,
essence of life comes from what we make,
enjoy each day before death hits your door.

Memories are created from yesterday’s past,
moments of laughter, to silence ever so sad,
with each day’s passing nothing made to last,
live life happy and try to never ever get mad.

Each new day brings another chance and hope,
but passes so quickly into a different tomorrow,
reality mixes fantasy and illusions just to cope,
so we won’t surrender to sadness and sorrow.

The warmth of the sun in the brightness of day,
skies of blue, rolling hills with all the flowers,
cherished miracles will often come you way,
birds of flight, the warmth of April’s showers.
