“ILLUSION”

Time is but an illusion of the mind,
calculated in perceptive thoughts of our own reality,
constantly seeking the pleasure we can find,
endlessly searching for all the possibilities.

Moments of pleasure surrounded by hours of pain,
it be the peaks not the valleys we seek,
we all desire that brief moment of fame,
which outshines the shadows of bleak

Human nature is such we roam the earth,
in hopes of connecting with one heart so pure,
driven by passion from birth,
the struggle appears more than we can endure.

Some are driven by money and greed,
the disbelief of power and strength,
they don’t understand the basic need,
yet will not stop at any length.

It is but the simplicity of life,
where the beauty and treasures unfold,
there we can reach a bountiful height
and find the truth of the story told.
