Nation Of Donation

Tepid glances search the night
same old story a thousand times.

Weathered faces, toothless grins
walking wounded, everyone's kin.

Campfires burn with putrid glee
outcasts dance at night unseen.

Cardboard boxes fill a need
rivers beckon, who will see?

Children ask not to be born
not a one should be forlorn.

We are one...the human race
don't forget, from whence you came.

The greatest nation on this earth
is donation, so no one hurts...

be careful some people will take advantage of generousity. Make sure they are reputable before giving.

True. the world is one and one part of it should not stay abandoned while the other part has plenty of resources. On the other side of the coin we should know that the more donations become persistent, the more nations develop dependency syndrome. Excellent write.

Sensitive write, Zenith. We shouldn't forget either, that the best of could be placed in that situation, at any time. So we must remember others, as we'd wish to be remembered.
