Can You Feel The Blues?

People can you, can you feel the blues soulful history from those who do... Daddy plugs in his amp and guitar closes his eyes, he strums real hard. Mama's cooking collards, cornbread and beans singing them tunes, while making ends meet. Children real happy, running round the house playing their harmonica's, jumpin up and down. People can you, can you feel the blues soulful history from those who do... BB King, Koko Taylor, Muddy Waters gettin down Keb "Mo", Ray Charles gonna turn things around. Instruments talking, heart and soul start walking rhythms so addictive make a hound dog stop barking. Bodies are swaying, listen to what they're saying taking it way back, where it all started from. People can you, can you feel the blues soulful history from those who do...

wonderful write, Zenith. Much of my newer verse is written listening to blues and or jazz...I have always liked such music, but did not really understand just how important it is...and how good it is.
You captured the rhythm, mood and flavor in these lines perfectly.
