Long , long ago or so it seems.
I painted pictures
that turned into dreams.
I cried thru fears of what would come.
And now the story becomes undone.
Loving you, could only bring...
the need to undergo therapy.
I'd gaze into your hooded eyes
searching for warmth, instead surprised
I'd reach out...grasping ...for your
warm embrace
Instead artic storms
would slap my face!
Loving you has released a curse
It retracted love
and made things worse
Long, long ago...
Today you are a dream
Something gratefully forgotten,
forever to me.
