She wonders about tomorrow

I miss my parents...

She gazes deeply into the pit of tomorrow

they watch her as only a mother can

                      concern circling the air

                       no witty conversations

                        morbid heavy wreaths

                        drape all mankind

how can she endure parentless tomorrows

              silence slices through disdained air

                         sorrow engulfs infinite lives

she needs them like a dove needs peace

                         memories will have to sustain

                                 all tomorrows

they hope the crossroads will quickly pass

                  their spirits ...

                  their firstborn...

                   prodding her...to realize...

                    there's so...much  more...

                    for her.
