Just a little something I wrote back on April 20th 1989.

People all talkin behind your back.

When you come around they turn their heads and laugh.

You used to be so special, an important man.

Now your lucky if Mickey D's will sell you a Big Mac.

Washin, Washin out your dirty linen...

Washin, Washin it out in public...

What used to be your private rights...

Has become the whole world's delight...

Dirt  tay  Dirt  tay   Lin  nen.......

I was walkin down the street just a hummin to myself.

When out of the shadows jumped Miss Kiss and Tell.

Tellin all your business on the public address.

Folks is rockin and rollin to your nasty life.

Cleanin, Cleanin out your dirty linen...

Washin, Cleanin it all over town...

Everyone's knowin bout your business...

CIA and FBI know all about...

The man that's down...

Dirt  tay   Dirt  tay  Lin   nen

I say your Oh so Dirt  tay  Lin  nen...

Oh, Baby where's Ms. Clean up woman.

Call Mr. Clean, don't know if they can help...

That remains to be seen.

Babies runnin round , wonderin why mama don't care.

She's sick and tired of her man drainin her with despair.

Dirt  tay Oh Oh  Oh so Dirt tay!

Needs to be clean so Dirt  tay!

Dirt  tay Lin  nen   I   say   Dirt  tay...

I especially liked this:

"When out of the shadows jumped Miss Kiss and Tell." You call her Miss. Kiss & Tell like it's a BAD word. Love the images you created here and I LOOOVE the way you KNOW how to breathe a good hell fire!

Thanks,

Teresa

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
