Good Ole Days

It's sad that little acts of kindness are like miracles in these days and times...

I remember the days, when everyone knew
who lived next door, no guessing who's who.

Such peaceful times, never locking your doors
secure in your home, no invasions, seldom gore.

Children could play, their imaginations in full bloom
neighbors would watch them, no worries no doom.

A dollar would buy... bread, milk and much more
affording to live, was not such a chore.

Times were less stressful, back in the day
oh how I miss...good ole fashioned days.

Great write Z! I miss those days too. Greed now has a powerful grip on our culture ... 'Tis the time of status symbols. Wish I was as positive as Andre, believing that we could save our country. This would mean changing hearts, and that would take a miracle.

"Good Ole Days" says it all... "And the children were playing"...

This is profound and it strikes imagination. It also makes one think on "WHYS". I have learned and my mind was fed.

No secure place to play anymore... Why we are destroying our land, and letting it be destroyed?

We can have those days back, and we can have better days. To accomplish this miracle, we have to stop Mammon’s action and make the Constitution of The United States of America, respected, commencing with Presidents... We must save our country, before it is too late... Read the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

Z these are the days we miss. To bad they are gone forever. A simplier time that most of us shared. Thanks for the memories.
