Take nothing for granted, tomorrow is not promised...

Doves gently float across chiffon laden skies,
oblivious to poverty beneath cement  cries.

Eohippus frolic in bramble infested fields,
unaware, nearby, men hide behind shields.

Children with innocent faces, halos aglow,
trusting eyes seeking unmentionable woes.

Gulls flying near salty sensations don't bite,
people sipping cocktails, readying for a fight.

The centrifudge of life mixes joy with delight,
cherish precious moments with loved ones in sight.
