One's muse often waits for the right time to strike us with sudden insight...sometimes, a little at a time...but always satisfying when it does.
I've been there a few times. When that moment hits, I stop thinking. It usually hits me back and I end up writing something. It isn't really writer's block. It's that your brain is overloaded. If you leave it alone, it comes right to you. It's like forgetting why you walked into the living room. You can stand there forever staring at the walls and will never figure it out. But if you walk away, you usually remember. Funny, how that works.
