"TO SAY YOU ARE SORRY"

Sorry is a powerful word
Sorry can change your life
From good to bad
Sorry can make things better
To say you sorry can make you forget
The mistakes you made
To hurt someone more
Is not to say how sorry you are
Sorry spells out what it means

S..special message of love
O..overdue in not telling you love
R...remission on a relationship gone bad
R...ready to forgive good or bad
Y...Your total honesty when saing you are sorry

Well !!! truth is my addiction
But if you come right out and tell me
Just what sorrow you have in your heart
Like music ..I will never hurt you
Love will never leave you behind
And songs that have such feeling
Love will con'quer it all
Only if you can say "I'm sorry"

Sorry is such an over-used word, mostly lacking in action to match the apology. Oh, the apologizer always truly means it when they utter the word: but, their lack of self-worth shortly leads them back to repeating the same offenses for which they previously were compelled to apologize. Sad, so sad and so unnecessary when counseling is so readily available. Another great write, Zenith. ~~Bonnie Q
