Into my heart an arrow flies embedding poisoned quills of pride. Circulating, mixed with blood numb with fear my brain is stung. My ego swells like tidal waves struggling within I can't behave. Summoning all my inner strength I battle with myself til I'm wet with sweat. My pride subsides taking it's place behind the walls of love and peace...

Pride is a kind of bad thing I admit, but one can be proud of their accomplishments as long as they don't "over Push" them on others, You have all the greatness that you should be proud of, love and peace is good, as well, but you need your pride too...it is what makes you, you!
