When souls meet, touch each other

we attract and find one another.
Slowly, tentatively, and with intention,
we narrate the story of our life’s journey.
Whether by need, choice or fate
we listen to each other’s voice,
and hear the eloquence
of shared words.
To discover what lies beneath
our outer facade ‐
we excavate, uncovering deep
feelings, fears, and desires.
As this powerful force
brings our energy together,
it acts as a healing balm.
Allowing room for the light within
and relief from buried pain.
Gathering strength - we seek a compass
to go forward on our journey.
And, compelled by a force greater
than can be understood ‐ we move on.
Chance encounter, perhaps!
With everlasting effect,
it was destined by fate to help
us heal our wounded souls.
