To a certain Lady who intrigues me so. I hope, my true intentions show.

This versification started life as a simple repartee, then developed into a sonnet, then morphed in something untried before, at least by me.
I will not attempt to label it, it is, what it is.
I make no apologies for its lack of vector, sometimes the truth is by far the simpler said.
At least by such a thespian that Thespis would himself so willingly endow.

 

 

 Come sit by me and tease me so,

with your outwish’d words unspoken.

That I may of their subject know,

true value of their worth an’ token:

and though perhaps,

there’s much, for minded thought to fear,

when words adumbrated veil appear.

Yet time may find its woes unfound,

in laughter’s own symphonic sound:

and sostenutos,

set to that sphere of words delight,

what shadow bears such weight of light?

For by such word, its self-succumb;

laid bare by mind’s own earnest bonum:

and desires avidity,

as now perseverant truth, so emanates

who then belies to which, it then relates.

For is not one’s joy, a true precious thing,

when self’s harmonious, word does ring:

with taction’s thought.

You could be Ben Jonson reincarnated: Wow, what a love poem! I wouldn't know a taction from a fraction (this word even put my spell checker into a tizzy). No expert I, but this poem exceeds my standards of sensibility and art. I am flabbergasted by your talent.
