I want to succeed Be the best Stand out From all the rest Be a survivor Survivors stay here Approach a situation Without any fear Giving my all Holding nothing back Giving everything Showing no slack Climbing the ladder Until I reach the top And not giving up If I fall off and drop I want to shine Show people my light Because the future looks good My future looks bright The desire to succeed Is a good feeling indeed

Excellent Jason! I enjoyed reading this inspirational poem. "I especially loved the part in which you encourage folks not to give up even if they should fall on their backs while in the process of obtaining their goals. Wow! And to paraphrase, you're simply saying no matter what obstacles one may encounter along the way, his/her goals are still reachable. These are definitely words to live by. Thanks, Dolores
