Friends are a wonderful gift
and what a wonderful friend you are
like a sister I have known all my years
always there to share my laughter and tears

Friends are a wonderful gift
and what a wonderful friend you are
a friend with whom I can share all things
a friend who makes me smile when she rings

Friends are a wonderful gift
and what a wonderful friend you are
such a special friend is hard to find
someone who is so alike in mind

Friends are a wonderful gift
and what a wonderful friend you are
you understand each and every thought
and of many things to me you have taught

Friends are a wonderful gift
and what a wonderful friend you are
a very big thank you I wanted to say
such a gift you are in each and every way
