Alone in the dark I lay in this loft…just minutes away from where you are
I close my eyes and whisper your name and wonder if somehow you hear me
Would you come to me if you could…
Do you still feel my kiss on your lips…as I feel yours on mine
The days pass quickly…time slips through my hands…already I’m out of time
And I wonder if ever I’ll see you again

Was it just a stolen moment as I passed through
The last thing I want to do is leave
When I’ve come so far and only just found you

I’ve never known anyone like you
No one comes close…no one ever will
Do you understand what I’m feeling now
Does is make a difference in your life somehow

I look at you and it makes me want to cry
Those blue-gray eyes that change with the color of your passion
Every part of me comes alive when I’m with you
I’d stay here forever to be where you are…
I’d take down my hair for you
I’d sit home and wait for you
Anything you want me to do
If only I could

But as I sit here listening to the rain in the trees…just hours away from leaving
I can’t help but wonder where you are and what it is you’re thinking
Are you tormented with guilt as would be your nature
Or is there a part of you that wants me still…
I have touched you and tasted the passion of your kiss
In my mind that memory will always live

I’ll be here always waiting…hoping for the day
Another stolen moment to come our way
