It doesn’t matter where Or what it is I’m doing When you come to me Out of nowhere Random thoughts Memories Images locked Inside my mind Of the time We shared Together If I close my eyes Let myself go I can feel your hands Upon my flesh Permanent prints That can never be Washed away Your mind and body Capture me Enrapture me Take me to that place Where my heart Smiled And my soul Did soar Momentarily Peacefully Greedily In my mind On my flesh Part of you Remains And will Forever Burn – © Copyright 2006 by Jill Terry. I can relate so well. There are those who forever leave an imprint in our lives. I don't believe we ever lose this but experience enriches us in ways we can't imagine. Beautifully written.
