I remember when I first studied Geology the age of Earth and the human population were the same. I thought it was so strange. 28 years later and we up to 7 billion. Egads....we are like locusts.

My cousin who is my age died two days ago from an embolism after a 10 hour flight. Her mother is around 90 years old and takes a mountain of pills all day long to prolong her life. She has been like that for several years. She cannot even leave the house. I keep asking what is it she is holding on for? She has already buried a husband and 3 children. At what point does medicine do more harm? Treat the body, but kill the planet with endless consumption. I know it sounds heartless, but it is our current mindset, the way we have cultured ourselves that we need to preserve our life indefinitely.
