What do we fight for? Why do we fight for? Where do we fight for?
Democracy and freedom A free country, with good choices Are precious gems in a people�s mind These need to be defended at home, first How can a future sapling ever be strong, If the mother tree is rotting away? Loving one�s country is fair We all have some values and dignity Some call it patriotism, others culture It spreads through words and smiles Rather then through bombshells But we are mortal beings No hook will hold our souls back on Earth When dead strikes us In the shade of lovely palm grove patios Greedy corporate hyper-rich mafia Make new plots and vicious plans How to loot the treasury, fill their pockets, And plunder the entire world Is it worth dying For the greedy and privileged corrupt? Excellent, powerful, poignant, true and wise!!!!
It is human nature sadly to destroy and or obliterate that which is not understood and can not be bent to the will of change by the so called "NORM" majority! "NORM" majority what a joke, and mankind as a whole will one day upon his whimsy choke!!!!

Might I suggest that you read "The prayer of fear" and go to the website Phophet of doom .net I believe that will clear up why spreading our culture and our good will, is not enough.

Excellent write! Franz in a world where no nation
is guilt free and confusion reigns, it's hard to
blame just one leader or country! I fear the world
as a whole is in the last throes of the malady
mankind has caused!

You make some extremely valid points, Franz, but I fear it has been this way since time began. Valiant soldiers follow orders, and many die because they do, but everyone must follow their own hearts as far as what patriotism means to them.
