Secret thoughts, plans and dreams

described succinctly not what it seems

living a path along life's duality

friends don't know the real reality. 

To capture that moment of an open door

to satisfy cravings we all want more

we want, we plan, we force the issue

trying to avoid a pause with tissue. 

We fill our lives with what is missing

complete our list instead of wishing

push to experience that moment in time

when hearts beat as one in satisfied rhyme.
