I sometimes think
without much faire
if these small poems
well done or rare

will get the notice
of other folks
who may just feel
they are good or jokes

they seem to rhyme
sometimes they are true
I wish to graduate
to controlled haiku

but then it happens
to post it or strike it
its finished yes but
will someone like it

it matters not
to whom it hits fancy
If only I get a review
from Peg, or from Nancy.

Poems been with me
a very long time
but now they are posted
singing each line

but wait I just posted it
and now there are others
about, dogs, and despair
and weddings and lovers

creative folks have
poems and slot them
I cry as my poem gets
pushed to the bottom

The front page of AD
is great while it lasts
it's time for a new one
and hope it will last.
