Photographs and camcorders, A candle and a card An old established tradition It has to be done Just as grandmother And parents Were done. But, there is one guest missing, Where is God? Why didn’t He come? No one thought to invite Him!
Today is your wedding day! Handsome groom Beautiful bride White lace dress Flowers all over the place Everyone is looking their best. Best man is nervous Where is the ring? Service seems so awfully long. Taking vows before God Repeat after me Parrot fashion! No hymns Just pop songs Photographs and camcorders Confetti Reception speeches Where is God? Didn’t invite Him! What does He have to do with me?
Lying in state In plush lined casket Central aisle Front of church Would you know this place If you could see it? Loved ones weeping Friends and relatives restless Feeling uncomfortable In this alien place. Funereal faces Black clothing Especially bought.
