Just hearing the phrase 'The Measure of Love' today made me think...and this is the result.
The Measure of Love Love is kind and never spiteful Love affirms, does not destroy, Love is vulnerable, not hard or hateful Love does not sarcastic wit employ; Love accepts our faults and foibles Love does not try to change, Love is spending time together, enjoyable Love does not try to roam the range; Love is two halves that make one whole Love does not try to remain as 'single,' Love means sharing heart and soul Love retains the spark that makes you tingle; Love is not afraid to apologise Love does not store up grudges, Love will never victimise Love is fair and never judges; Love is always being there Love does not desert in times of trouble, Love is showing that you care Love with hardship does not crumble; Love says "I Love You" everyday Love does not take 'Love' for granted, Love protects in every way Love is nurtured once its planted; Love has a gentle disposition Love does not try to pigeonhole, Love encourages free expression Love never tries to take control.
