Short poem about mothers in general and how aging daughters may feel about them.
Every day her image becomes a little clearer-- my mother in the mirror. Do I threaten her as I become her? When I am Woman what is there for her to be? A Crone perhaps? It makes me glad I do not have a daughter....

I wish I could see my mother in the mirror, but then she'd
probably tell me a need a haircut. I do sometimes see my Dad
in the mirror when I;m shaving. Daughters are nice. While I
find this a bit sad, Rachel, I like the way you write. -gene.
