The starship is rising . . .
The countdown is done . . .
The ground crew’s departed . . .
My shipmates strapped down . . .
I’m commanding the earth’s largest starship,
And a voyage to new worlds has begun.
The seekers are steering
A course near the sun . . .
The engineers plotting
Ignition and burn . . .

But I really don’t have a starship
And I can’t really fly to the sun.
But I do have a dream,
Like a journey it seems
And I try to pretend
There are new worlds to gain.
