At first I was afraid of them.

I mean; they are so big! They

can hurt you without trying;

without wanting to. But they

were so willing to be friendly

that we became friends.

I will never understand

how agreeable animals can be--

how they are ready to trust

such inferior beings;

how they are content to go

anywhere with us, without

knowing where we are going,

or where we have been.

 Reviews of "Horses"

as a life long horse person i've always felt a little bit sad for those who've never experienced life with horses

i was young and grew old along with one special spectacularly inteligent arab. he's dead now and you've managed to put into wonderful words part of the reason why i still miss my closest friend...

he balked not at where we were going and more importantly...judged me not for where we had been

I know this feeling well, about the fear, but my other half has had two horses since we first met and I am getting over my fear...they are majestic animals...but I would rather have a dog...;-) ed

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
