CONTEMPLATION







Through contemplation and meditation
I could form more than speculation
And what once I failed to realize
I could absorb with astonished eyes---
Perfection is unattainable and it is best
that is so,
For if achieved, where would there be left to go?
And if what matters most has but once been touched,
We have journeyed and learned more than much.
Perhaps, one implementation that has traveled with me since youth,
Is if you hear, rather than listen, you seek and you find truth.
