There is an old Irish saying on the subject that your last two lines bring to mind: "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."

I love how the picture goes with the story of " Horizons Red,"----

Haunting is this piece of poetry, Vivian. The photo cast the drama perfectly, the woman being portrayed vividly and the man as faded memories. Excellent writing.
Facing imprisonment in 2061’s dystopian Manhattan, Cori Christopher is given the opportunity to time travel to Occupied Paris in 1941 to try and save singer Noel Matheson, leader of the Cafe Violette Resistance, from Nazi destruction…and perhaps save
