~Rumi~

 I drank water from your spring
and felt the current take me


~Night for Dawning~

 

They who wait by day
time passing in silhouette 
to be filled in again retaining
memory for a long, long time
full bodied love sustaining 

Solid figures cast in shadows
touching borders of the heart
highways curvy that run along 
waistlines sinuously sublime

Shadows give in to circling
peace of mind becoming one
swallowing gentle an ocean 
souls fulfilled from the drinking

...yes, and like a liquid cornucopia, some drinks sate without saturating the soul... just as some shadows are cast long, long before the shadow dancing ends in a darkness visible and full of meaning...
