A YELLOW FRIENDSHIP ROSE TO EACH OF YOU! GOD BLESS YOU ALL! PROUD TO CALL YOU FRIENDS...............

Poem Artwork

We spend our time

 on so many useless things

Watching others

making mistakes

Just so later we can

talk them down

We see beauty everywhere

and never take the time

to say

Thank you Lord

We concentrate on

things that tomorrow

won't mean a thing

We allow others

to tear us apart

and destroy the good

we carry in our hearts

We fuss and fight

each other by day

and then lay with them at night

We refuse to look around

and see

The beauty God placed inside

and we're way to ready

to throw our hands up in defeat

I wonder what the world would be

if we would

but stop and see

The beauty placed in

a face

a smile

a child

a rainbow

a sunset

or

sunrise

a birds call

Wonder what secrete

he might have to say

if we could understand

his twitter on any given day

Might we not concentrate

and try to make the world

 a better place

Might we not try to love

not just those that love us

but all Gods people

I think its time we concentrate

and learn to look

outside ourselves

Open our eyes

and really concentrate

on Beauty

everywhere

Tina, that really opens your eyes for what we take for granted everday. The loved one that we hurt or put down, the simple things that we don't enjoy. Take time to stop and smell the roses and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us that we pass by. As you say, "Concentrate", on the life that is around us all and that is inside us all. Beauty is only skin deep and should be held and nurtured and not be too readily just thrown away. So beautifully written and you could feel the need. Love, Ken.

If we would only stop and take the time to focus on the important things in this life and never let the ones we love and care about drift away and learn how to forgive then this world would be so much better...........

Tina,

Excellent thoughts here. We always seem to let beauty pass us by and fail to see it in every aspect of life. Very beautiful and well written poem.

Ok is one gorgeous poem. And what a difference seeing beauty in just about everything lightens the heart. Makes one think if this is beauty then what does heaven have in store.
Is a wonderful thang..
