Standing at a cross roads looking inward..........

Poem Artwork

I sit here this morning

thoughts, emotions

wanting to run wild!

Wishing I could separate

from myself ,

for just a little while.

Not sure of the paths

to take,

or the journey there,

but knowing that

to stay would bring

 no answers either.

So am I stepping out on faith

or,

Stepping out a fool?

Only time will tell!

The suspense

is about to make me yell!

I've always followed

the plain marked path.

Never was one to cause a wave!

Just living day to day.

Now I stand at the cross-road

of mostly self doubt.

Saying its not enough!

I need more

I need out

If I let things go and back away,

will I forever have regret's

and say,

"You had your chance,

and in fear walked away"?

What then will be left to say?

So, I guess I will just have to

go and do it my way.

I know this may not make a lick of sense.

So all I can say really

is

 PRAY!

Pray, I will find my way........

A poem of inner turmoil with the beauty fo hope and new beginnings. We never know until we dare to try Tina. If something is meant to be you will feel the release in your spirit. Pay attention to your true inner feelings no one but yourself, can tell you what risks to take in life.I'm praying!

All the best to you,
Eileen

TAking that first step is the hardest part. If you don't risk, nothing ever changes. There are those who expect God to do it all, and if that were true, He'd be doing the walking in our tennis shoes, not us. This is insightful as well as wise, Tina. A pleasure to read.

Wise thoughts before the mirror of eternity "At The Crossroad's".

When one hears the call of the inner "I" knowledge meets wisdom and
the arrows of consciouness will show the way to freedom.

I read a a poetic compliance through the lines of this ontologic and
spiritual writing, "At The Crossroad's".

I salute You, Poet!

Sometime we have to rock the boat. Even till it capsizes if need be.
Don't forget. Be bold and mighty forces will come your way..

Any time we question this seriously it is time for change also the New Year seems to bring a need for newness in its spirit to us also. I think not a fool but taking a step of faith is the right one doubt always challenges faith so pray and leap and do the best you can in all you do.
This is such a wonderful inspiring poem.

Tina,
You will find your way, for you aren't alone, even though you may feel you are. One thing we learn to recognize as writers is that our comfort zone is not always clearly marked, but once you've been there, it is no longer unknown territory, and you'll travel there much easier after that. So put on your traveling shoes and enjoy the scenery!

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
