The angel, he beheld her
a soul lost and in despair
He followed her closely,
and quietly whispered
'Do not give up child,
for God does care'
But her tears fell freely,
she was at the end of her rope
life and beat her so many times
she had no will to live, she'd lost all hope,

Of this life, she was ready to depart
But God had given His angel the will
To touch this woman's aching heart
He would not stand by, seeing, feeling
and not of her pain, be a part

Invisible to her troubled human eye
the mighty angel, in spirit, stood by
Powerful as a solid brick wall
he was ready and willing to lift her up
before she could completely fall
as her feet met the icey water of the sea
she tought she heard a voice whisper;
'Do not despair, for I am with thee'

She could feel strong hands touch her
and God's messenger did assure her
'all is not lost, my child
keep fighting for life, at any cost
for out of grief, pain and despair
come a sense of peace, hope and joy
when you know God will always care'

For, out of tears of despair and doom
God's love will always blossom
in victory, His love will always bloom
~*~*~*~
A sign, a rainbow, is seen to reveal
love has spread its seed once more
in tenderness to lift up,
with love to restore and to heal 
and plant joy upon this fragile heart
From God, our Heavenly Father
who teaches in spirit and truthfulness
we're able to find the path that leads
to true peace and happiness

And this stirred the soil of hope
in her broken, tear filled soul
she no longer felt broken
but once again, felt whole
she was lead away from the sea
with her heart filled joyously,
and anxious to tell her story
to witness to how she was saved
by His divine glory
