My Entity

At the end of a long and weary day
I collapse on my bed to be carried away
In hopes of seeing you in my dreams
For it is the only way that I can have you.

As I slip into my nice soft bed
And sink into a cloud of much wanted rest
I am awakened by you touching my face.
I open my eyes and turn my head
And there you are smiling
Your finger traces the curve of my face
And I put my hand up to cover yours.

You smile at me
And gently kiss my forehead and nose
And then hungry lips become entwined
And sweet fatigue gives way to
Sweet ecstasy.

We never speak
But we do not need to.
This is all about our senses.
This is all about tasting each other,
Smelling each other,
Looking at each other.
The only sound is that of
Clean crisp sheets
And our breathing.
The sound of kisses
And quiet moans of passion.

You take me
And I surrender myself
To your love
Over and over again
Our bodies glistening with sweat
Mingled with each others scent
This is what we both wanted
And needed.
Still we never speak
As if afraid to break the spell
As if afraid to be caught like
Bad children doing something we know
We aren’t supposed to be doing.

Our slow steady rhythm
Gets faster and more desperate
Needing to fulfill the fire within
Two fire signs burning with such intensity.

You pull me up to you tightly.
My legs around you.
One arm around your back
One holding you head close to my breasts.
We reach our point of destination together
And succumb with one last
Passionate kiss.
Then slowly you lower me back to my pillow.
Our breathing heavy,
Our bodies still entwined.
Our eyes meet
They say to each other
What our lips are afraid to say
But we know
We just know.

I awake to the sound of my alarm clock
Please say it is the nightingale
And not the lark.
No signs of the sun, the room is still dark,
But the moonlight streams through my window.
I roll over and a curl falls from my
Forehead to the pillow.
You are not there to push it back.
I touch my lips for a moment
Your last kiss is still warm
and I smile.
Then I push back my covers
And rise from my slumber.
Another day dawning
Another night later befalling
Tired and weary
Here my love again I will meet you
Here my love
Again in my dreams…

It is in our dreams that we meet the preconcious memories of lovers yet unmet.
If you wait, and watch, and will it hard enough...it is inevitable.
