Here's a thank you to all those who serve as volunteers, in hospitals, schools, church emrgancy services in fact anywhere. They ease the load.

VOLUNTEERS.

Where would we be without that willing band,
Of helpers, always ready at hand,
To be the backstop , giving aid to those in need,
Serving both with hands and spirit, essential help indeed.

Doing tasks so common that are oft indeed ignored,
Just making all the difference yet they, don`t seek any applause,
Relieving staff`s time pressures, filling in the gaps,
Giving aid and comfort, where it lacks perhaps.

Their backgrounds they may vary, all hold a different view,
On life and the way of living, that will differ from me and you,
But one thing they hold in common, that`s to serve their fellow man,
By giving ready service , in any way they can.

So let them know they`re helpful if they are aiding you,
Show them some appeciation, for the things they do,
Remember that without them, life could be much more drear,
And give a heartfelt thank you, for every volunteer.
