The perfect poem does it exist,
Can it be there on my list ,
Will I know it when I see it,
Perhaps this verse may come to be it.
“Tis said perfection is in the eye of the beholder
Oh to write that verse , before I'm older,
I rack my brain for such a rythmn,
Inspiration may I now be given.
Is it stanzas short or stsnzas tall,
Really now I can't recall,
May it be I see perfection,
Especially in my own collection.
The perfect poem isn't about who wrote it at all. It's about who reads it. About what the words mean to the one that is tasting it at the time.
