Sweet Baby
By Handsum-Hart

Call me anything
But your sweet baby
I will not give an ear
To your lips
To whisper
This cute nickname in

Until you first carry
The dry cry
Of my lonely voice
Inside your songful heart
For 9 musical months

Then birth my cry anew
As a cradlesong
That puts you to sleep
While being gently rocked
In my lady-pleasing arms
Sending you
Into dreams of sweetness
Sweeter than the starchy roots
Of wild sweet potato vines

Now I shall whisper
My sweet baby
Into your ear
Each time I sing you
Into the field of dreams
With the cradlesong
Birthed to me
From your songful heart

Ron I echo the others here and say that this very romantic, very sweet, and very touching. I have such a place in my heart for words such as these. But, then I only wish that a man would call me his Sweet Baby, with his songful heart. Eileen said that you have a wonderful gift. Not only do you have a wonderful gift with words, but a unique gift, because it can make my sad heart, very glad, if only for a few moments. Thnx brother for sharing these wonderful sentiments. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly.
