Yes, It’s Vacation Time!

My bank funds, I've transferred
To the front pockets
Of my olive-brown khakis

I've dripped saliva
Onto my shoes
And given them
A good old-fashioned spit shine

With help, from a grey-haired cutie
At my AAA office, I've mapped out
My vacation destination

Will Smith’s Summertime song
Is playing on repeated track
As I cruise in my Handsum-mobile

When here, another poem,
Will I pen, I know not
I guess it depends on how long
It will take for my pockets
To become fund-less
Ending my big time fun
