This sorrowful day Love comes to mind Mingling with memories So very intertwined. This sorrowful day As I say goodbye to thee My tears like rain have fallen Though I know you've been set free. This sorrowful day I fall upon my knees And question all that is And I feel a slight breeze. This sorrowful day My life is now so changed I will miss you for all days As things are so arranged. This sorrowful day Will soon come to pass But my loss of you will always Hurt me to the last. This sorrowful day Sees you on your way And now your soul rejoices As I will see you again someday.

Fawn,

A wonderful Christian man at my church died yesterday. A very sorrowful day for the ones left behind but a joyous day for him. Excellent write!
